Me
Howdy! My name is Alex Dixon and I am a freelance marketer and creative in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am passionate about helping small and local businesses thrive in the ever-evolving world of marketing and social media. My focus is on crafting compelling brands, telling authentic stories, and leveraging the power of social platforms to drive growth and connection.

Most days you’ll find me behind the scenes: designing in Canva, editing videos, writing blogs, or meeting with clients to brainstorm their next big idea. I love bringing a mix of strategy and creativity together to help businesses show up confidently online.

Experience
I’m a proud graduate of East Tennessee State University (Go Bucs!), where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. My passion for creativity and hands-on projects combined with my love for business laid the perfect foundation for a career in marketing.

Over the past six years, I’ve gained diverse experience through internships, freelance work, and two full-time, in-house marketing roles. These opportunities have allowed me to work across a wide range of industries—including home products, real estate, construction, healthcare, and senior care.

This diverse background has given me expertise in:

-
Social Media Management
-
Content Creation
-
Website Management
-
Email Marketing
-
Blog writing, publishing, and storytelling
-
Video production, editing, and photography
-
Ad management for both social media and Google platforms
-
Google My Business optimization and SEO
More About Me
Before Alex Dixon Marketing was born, I launched a little passion project called Golden Fox Vintage. My love for thrifting and vintage started after I bought my first house and wanted to decorate with unique quality items without breaking the budget. Even now, weekends often mean estate sales, thrift stores, and the thrill of “the find.” Shopping secondhand is a theme that continues to shape my life, and it’s something I love encouraging others to try.

Outside of work, I’m a proud dog mom to two rescues, Birdie and Charlie. They’re my heart, and they’ve inspired me to get more involved in animal welfare. I volunteer regularly at Young-Williams Animal Shelter, dedicating time each month to support the many animals waiting for homes.

When I’m not working or thrifting, you can usually find me:

-
Exploring Knoxville’s food scene searching for the best smash burger
-
Rearranging (and re-rearranging) my home décor
-
Brainstorming new creative projects over too much coffee
